Open Events 2010: 
Our main Open Morning will be held on
Saturday 2nd October 2010. 
Our Into the Sixth Form Open Evening will be held on Monday 4th October 2010.

Our main entry points are at age 3+ to the Polliwiggle Nursery, 4+ and 7+ to the Junior Department, 11+ and 14+ to the Senior Department and 16+ to the Sixth Form, although occasional vacancies occur at other ages.

At 4+, assessment is based on verbal and practical activities undertaken with the Head of the Junior Department and at 7+, your daughter will spend a full day with us attending lessons and doing assessments in English, Mathematics and reasoning.

At 11+, your daughter will sit an entrance assessment in English, Mathematics and Reasoning in the early Spring, prior to possible entry.  We also aim to interview all girls in pairs so that we can talk to them about their interests and the school. Assessments are straightforward and appropriate for the age group. A report will also be requested from your daughter's current school, where applicable.

We admit girls directly to the Sixth Form on the basis of a minimum of 6 Grade B's at GCSE, interview and a report from their current school. Please see 'Sixth Form' page for further details.

You are welcome to look round the school at our Open Afternoon in June or our Open Morning in October. Individual visits can also be made to the school and Taster sessions can be arranged in the Nursery and the Junior Department -  please call or email the Registrar for an appointment.
