We have an excellent track record of girls gaining places at their first choice University, underpinned by extensive careers advice, a wealth of educational trips, and a comprehensive programme of guidance.

Nearly half of our 2017 leavers have secured places at prestigious Russell Group universities such as Oxford, Cambridge and King’s College London.

All students complete the highly regarded Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), giving them the opportunity to extend their abilities beyond the A Level syllabus and stand out when preparing for university and careers.

Based in a superb, spacious, modern environment, girls can commit to their learning, but also relax in a space where they can socialise and have fun with new friends.

Every girl has the chance to contribute to the wider school community, with an abundance of leadership and mentoring roles. They also have unrivalled access to our network of over 70,000 GDST Alumnae who will provide support, mentoring and invaluable work experience placements. Each girl in the Upper Sixth has the opportunity to do an extension class in a subject of their choice. This class runs for the entirety of the year and is an opportunity for Upper Sixth girls to study areas of interest beyond the confines of the curriculum.

By nature, these classes are small and the students in them have applied to read a related subject at university. They are designed to help bridge the gap between School and University study.

Norwich High School girls are renowned for their boundless energy and enthusiasm in all they undertake.

There is a wide range of opportunities for fun, adventure and challenge, with committed and enthusiastic teachers who help bring the curriculum to life. We are proud of our sense of community. Girls are expected to take responsibility, to consider others and pull together as a team.

We recognise the investment parents make in their daughters’ education and are pleased to be able to offer such competitive rates.

It is our aim to offer affordability and excellence – the best start for your daughter and the best value for you.

We operate on a three term academic year.  The fees exclude lunches.

The fee for the school year from September 2018 to August 2019 is as follows.

£1,213.50 per month

(over 12 months)

or £4,854 per term (three terms per year)*

This can be paid over 12 months,

or as three termly instalments

Scholarships

Every year, Norwich High School welcomes applicants to our Senior School and Sixth Form to apply for a scholarship. We are looking to reward girls who show exceptional ability and potential in a number of disciplines.

Scholarships are awarded on merit and are available to girls entering Upper III (Year 7), Upper IV (Year 9) and Lower VI (Year 12). Successful applicants will remain Scholars throughout their time at Norwich High School.

Applications for scholarships should be submitted in the Autumn Term prior to your daughter’s year of entry.

Bursaries

Bursaries also take into account academic merit and are means-tested according to parental income.

Most bursaries for full fees will be awarded to girls from families with a total income of less than £35,000 and with no capital assets other than their home. Post entry bursaries can be considered at key stages, subject to budget. It is highly unlikely that a bursary would be awarded to a family whose annual income is greater than £85,000.

Bursaries for less than full fees will be awarded on a graded scale, according to parental income. Bursaries are reassessed annually.
