Artificial Intelligence is transforming our world and it is already transforming education. Tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini are not just novelties; they are powerful platforms for research, brainstorming and personalised learning.
As a school dedicated to preparing girls for the future, our second Golden Thread, “Leveraging AI,” is central to our mission. We see it as our responsibility not to ban this technology, but to teach our students to use it with power, precision and integrity.
Our focus is twofold:
- To Support Learning: Teachers use AI to create personalised learning paths, generate creative project ideas and automate administrative tasks, freeing them up to focus on what matters most: building relationships with their students.
- To Teach Responsibility: Our Responsible AI Use policy is paramount. We are teaching students to be critical thinkers who verify AI-generated content for accuracy and bias. We teach them to protect their data and to apply their own professional and moral judgement to the information they receive.
Our goal is not to train girls to use a single tool. It is to cultivate a generation of ethical, critical and digitally-literate leaders who can engage confidently with AI and shape the future.
