On Sunday 21st September the F24 racing team, Phoenix, headed to Lotus for the latest F24 event, where the weather kept everyone guessing with a mix of sun, clouds, and the occasional shower. Despite the changeable conditions, spirits stayed high, and the day proved to be another great example of teamwork and determination.

It was encouraging to see some of our new team members joining us at the track, bringing fresh energy and supporting the crew throughout the day. Their enthusiasm added to the buzz in the pits and helped keep the car running smoothly between races.

On track, the racing was fast and exciting, with plenty of close battles to keep us on the edge of our seats. The drivers adapted brilliantly to the conditions and showed real resilience.

After a full day of hard work and commitment, the team were rewarded with a fantastic third place overall finish -a brilliant result that everyone contributed to.

Even more exciting, this result means we have now qualified for the International Finals at Goodwood – an amazing achievement for the whole team!

A huge thank you goes out to all the students, staff, sponsors and supporters who made the day such a success. From the drivers and pit crew to those cheering trackside, it truly was a team effort.
