Resilience and Return
In 2016, just six months before the Rio Olympics, Victoria suffered a life-threatening crash that left her 2mm from paralysis. Following multiple spinal and pelvic injuries, she spent months rebuilding both physically and mentally to return to elite sport.
Three years later, she made her comeback to international competition with British Cycling before switching sports entirely to compete for Team GB in Bobsleigh – becoming one of the few athletes to represent Great Britain in two different sports.
Now stepping away from elite sport, Victoria shares her journey of overcoming adversity, embracing change, and building resilience through movement, mindset, and determination.
A True Inspiration
We are incredibly proud to welcome Victoria back to the school to share her extraordinary story. Her journey is a testament to what can be achieved through unwavering focus and a positive mindset. We look forward to celebrating alongside Victoria and our sporting stars on Friday 12th June!
