On Thursday 7th October, a team of Year 12 students took part in the first virtual GDST LEAD Bootcamp.
The GDST LEAD programme, supported by the London School of Economics, is designed to provide a platform from which teams work to develop a sustainable enterprise initiative whilst developing an understanding of leadership skills.
The girls involved in the initiative are: Florence, Annabel, Jess, Lola, Clarice, Aimee and Lily.
The virtual bootcamp gave the girls an opportunity to listen to keynote speakers, take part in activities that would help them with their enterprise idea and meet their business mentor (from LSE Generate). The final task of the day was set as an interschool challenge.
Each school had to produce a one-minute pitch to help one of the LSE start-up companies to develop their Persian Ice Cream Brand. The Norwich High team was voted as joint winners. The girls’ well thought through marketing ideas were clearly focused on the brief and included a brilliant logo design (by Lola). Well done to everyone involved!
