Norwich High Head Girls Team 2026

Congratulations to our new student leadership team, who were announced in assembly this week after a competitive process involving letters of application, hustings and interviews. The new team is as follows:

Head Girl – Sepideh
Deputy Head Girl – Paniz
Social Action Leads – Immi and Libby
Prep Lead – Holly

It was brilliant to see so many of our Year 12 students put themselves forward for the leadership roles and we look forward to announcing further supporting Captain roles soon.

The baton now passes from our departing leadership team: Head Girl Daisy and Deputies Evie, Izzy, Saskia and Becca. We are so grateful for their tireless dedication and the energy they brought to our community over the past twelve months. As they transition into study leave to focus on their upcoming A Levels, we wish them every success for the future.

“It is energising and inspiring to work with Sixth Formers who are so keen to champion even stronger links within our community.  Their commitment to helping others is what makes working with these young leaders so rewarding. We’re looking forward to building on that energy later this term as we bring together student leaders from across the GDST to share ideas and plan for the year.”

Sepideh

Having grown up at Norwich High over the last 14 years, this community is truly a part of who I am. I am incredibly honored to serve as Head Girl and to have the chance to give back to the school that has shaped me! I’m particularly excited to strengthen the bonds between year groups through some friendly competition and to ensure that every student feels their voice is heard. My goal is to translate your ideas into real action, ensuring we continue to support and uplift one another in everything we do.

Paniz

Starting my journey here in the Nursery, Norwich High has truly been the place where I found my voice. Now, as Deputy Head Girl, I am so excited to help everyone else find theirs through initiatives like a potential podcast and a ‘Be Unapologetically You’ programme. I hope to be a friendly face who ensures every girl feels empowered to be exactly who she is.”

Immi

I’m so excited to be a part of the Head Girls team! For me, leadership is about being a dependable, approachable listener who turns student ideas into real-world improvements. I’m passionate about celebrating every student’s unique achievements, from the sports field to the textiles studio, and I can’t wait to use our platforms to showcase the small changes that make our daily school life so special. I’m here to support you all and to ensure our school community remains as vibrant and welcoming as possible.”

Libby

“Since joining the school in Year 9, I’ve learned first-hand how a supportive community can truly shape who you become. As Social Action Lead, I want to make sure that sense of belonging is stronger than ever. I’m eager to bridge the gap between the Student Council and the Head Girl team to ensure your ideas are acted on quickly and effectively. I want to be an outgoing and sociable advocate for every student.”

Holly

I’ve been part of the Norwich High family since I was three years old, and this community means so much to me. As the new Prep School lead, I am so excited to bring my energy to our younger years. My goal is to breathe new life into our favorite traditions, from Halloween to International Women’s Day, while creating fresh ways for us to connect across the whole school. I want every girl to know that her voice matters and that I’m always here to listen, encourage, and be a friendly face.”
