Norwich High Prep perform at Young Voices 2025

Hello Wembley! The energy and excitement were sky-high as 74 pupils from Norwich High Prep took to the stage at the OVO Arena Wembley for Young Voices 2025—the largest children’s choir concert in the world.

Alongside thousands of young singers, our pupils from Years 3 to 6 delivered an unforgettable performance, showcasing months of dedication and rehearsals. Since September, the girls have been perfecting their lyrics and dance moves in their lunchtime club and their hard work truly paid off on the big night!

This year’s show was packed with standout moments, including a Pop Medley, a lively Hairspray Medley, and an electrifying Bob Marley medley featuring the incredible Tommy Blaize. The girls were also thrilled to perform alongside special guests Souparnika Nair and the returning MC Grammar and Urban Strides, who brought their signature high-energy dance routines to the show.

“Young Voices is always a highlight of the year and this year’s concert was no exception. The girls put in so much effort during rehearsals, learning a huge volume of songs and dance moves and their dedication was evident in their performance. It’s an incredible experience for them—not only do they get to perform in a world-class venue alongside nearly 5,000 other children, but they also gain so much from sharing the stage with inspiring special guests.”

Susan Roberts, Head at Norwich High School for Girls Prep School & Nursery

Susan continued: “Hearing how Souparnika Nair and a member of Urban Strides once stood where they did, as schoolchildren performing in Young Voices, was a powerful reminder of where music and dedication can take you. It was a long and exciting day, but the girls showed fantastic resilience and the smiles at the end said it all. They’ve come away to enjoy the rest of our Winter Arts Festival Week with fantastic memories and we can’t wait to be back next year!”

A huge thank you to Mr Wistow and all the staff who supported the girls on this incredible journey and to our wonderful parents for their encouragement. We hope those who joined us in the audience had as much fun as we did—especially during the Rave section, where 90s garage beats transported everyone back in time!

Young Voices continues to be a magical and inspiring experience for our pupils and we can’t wait to do it all again next year.
