Norwich High School for Girls Celebrates as Finalist at Regional Education Awards

Norwich High School for Girls has been recognised for offering Outstanding Support for Students.

Norwich High School for Girls is excited to announce its selection as a finalist at the 2024 EDP Education Awards in the Outstanding Support for Students category. This prestigious recognition highlights the school’s exceptional commitment to nurturing student wellbeing.

Located on Newmarket Road in Norwich, Norwich High has been distinguished for its innovative and holistic approach to education. The EDP Education Awards honour outstanding contributions across the county’s educational sector, from primary through to higher education. Norwich High was celebrated for its comprehensive support system, guided by Deputy Head – Pastoral & Co-Curricular, Mrs Helen Dolding. The school’s emphasis on fostering emotional, social and psychological wellbeing has set a high standard, with notable programmes including the Beyond co-curricular initiative, the ‘Big Sister’ programme and extensive leadership opportunities including on the school council.

The winners will be announced at the live awards evening on Tuesday 1st October, and Norwich High is proud to be among the finalists.
