We once again rank in the top ten independent schools in East Anglia.

We are delighted to share that Norwich High School for Girls has once again been recognised for its academic excellence and holistic education, placing among the top schools in East Anglia in the 2025 Sunday Times Parent Power League Table.

This year, we are proud to once again rank in the top ten independent schools in East Anglia. Based on our 2024 A Level results, we are the 144th best independent school in the country. Including GCSE results, we rank 166th nationally—a testament to our students’ exceptional achievements. With 80% of A Level grades at A*, A, or B, and 58% of GCSE grades at 9, 8, or 7, our students continue to excel academically while embracing the wider opportunities that make Norwich High truly unique.

Girls’ schools continue to lead the way nationally, with six of the top ten schools in the UK being single-sex. At Norwich High, we understand the immense value of an all-girls education: an environment where every girl is empowered to achieve her best and develop the skills needed for a dynamic and ever-changing world.

In keeping with the national trends among top-performing schools, Norwich High offers a broad and enriched curriculum. This includes a strong emphasis on the arts, music, drama and sport, as well as diverse language opportunities, ensuring our students cultivate creative, cultural and global perspectives alongside academic success.

Our investment in digital teaching tools, including AI-driven learning platforms, ensures our students are equipped for a future where artificial intelligence will play a transformative role in workplaces and society. Beyond academic excellence, our ethos centres on nurturing well-rounded individuals who are confident, resilient and kind. With wellbeing at the heart of all we do, we encourage our students to view challenges as opportunities for growth.

“We are immensely proud of all our students who sat their public exams this summer. At Norwich High, our focus is on unlocking each girl’s individual potential, so these results are a testament to their hard work and determination. The majority of our GCSE cohort have moved on to our Sixth Form, where they continue to thrive in our supportive and inspiring environment. Our consistently strong A Level results reflect the close relationships between staff and students, fostering an environment where every girl is known, valued and encouraged to reach her goals. We remain committed to ensuring that every girl leaves us ready to lead, inspire and make a meaningful impact in whatever path she chooses.”
