Norwich High School for Girls Tops The Telegraph’s Value For Money League in Norfolk

Posted on 11th July 2025

We are delighted that Norwich High School for Girls GDST has once again been recognised as the best value independent school in Norfolk by The Telegraph.

Telegraph Money has released an updated 2025 Value for Money league table, which ranks hundreds of Independent Schools based on examination performance and facilities, among other metrics, relative to fees to reveal the best value independent schools across the UK.

Norwich High School for Girls GDST is thrilled to rank as the best value independent school in Norfolk for the second year running. This reflects our commitment to academic excellence and student experience whilst keeping fees as affordable as possible for our families.

Our fee to grade ratio was rated as ‘Very Good’ at A Level, the highest overall grading in the region.

Norwich High School for Girls is one of ten Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) schools who ranked top of the league table in their local markets.

Cheryl Giovannoni, Chief Executive of the GDST said: “With decades of expertise in girls’ education, GDST’s schools are focused on academic excellence and outstanding pastoral support, providing an education that builds girls’ confidence, resilience and courage in a world that remains far from equal.
We work extremely hard to keep fees as affordable as possible for our families, so we can continue to reach as many girls as possible. It is heartening to see this recognised by Telegraph Money in what remains a very challenging environment.”
