We are delighted to announce that Norwich High School for Girls Prep School and Nursery has been selected as the winner of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Charity’s Young Fundraisers Award 2024. Throughout the 2023/24 academic year, our pupils chose the Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital as our charity and worked tirelessly to raise funds.

Through various fundraising activities—including busking at the Forum, the collection at our Carol Service, Norwich High Prep’s Got Talent (organised by our House Captains), and Charities Day—we raised an impressive total of £1,837.68. This achievement showcases the commitment and creativity of our students and the strong support of our community.

“The thing I enjoy most about the fundraising is the events – the whole school comes together and all the year groups work as a team.” Aina

“I like fundraising because I like the fact that it is going to a really good cause because it is helping people who might be less fortunate than us. It’s a really nice feeling knowing that all of the money we have raised might help save lives and go towards people with illnesses.”  Cressie 

“It’s amazing to win this award as we know we are really helping people; we are so pleased that the hospital can benefit from this. It’s important to support hospitals like this as fundraising means they can have more equipment and staff to be able to help the people who need it in Norfolk.” Phoebe 

“It’s quite an achievement to win this award. The best thing is that we won the award because we raised lots of money. It’s not about winning the award; we are most proud about the lives that we can help.” Chloe
