Music and movement allowed our Prep School pupils to find their collective voice for the annual Prep School Summer Showcase. Girls from Kindergarten through to Year 6 built immense confidence as they shared an eclectic mix of global music and dance routines. The sheer enthusiasm on stage reflected months of dedicated practice and teamwork, leaving parents and staff deeply proud of every performer.

Our Prep School Musical Theatre Club took to the Stafford House stage to bring the streets of Victorian England to life with Lionel Bart’s Oliver Jr. While the iconic show presented a wonderful challenge for our young cast, the girls rose to the occasion with energetic, polished and heartfelt performances throughout the evening. Supported by generous funding from the Norwich High School Parent Association and steady guidance from school staff, the performers’ dedication highlighted the impressive creative growth taking place within our Prep Drama department.

“The programme showcased the remarkable breadth and depth of performing arts at the Prep school, with performances spanning styles, genres and even languages, from a beautiful Mary Poppins medley to a joyful song performed in Swahili, a show-stopping Mission Impossible dance and a rousing disco medley of funky favourites that sent everyone home smiling.”
Senior and Sixth Form Showstopper
The Senior School students demonstrated remarkable artistic maturity during this year’s annual production of ‘Showstopper’. The performance brought together rock, drama and musical theatre, highlighting both individual talent and strong ensemble work. Seeing our Year 13 leavers return to the stage for one final bow added a poignant layer, marking the culmination of their creative journeys at Norwich High.

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Showcase
For our youngest learners, stepping in front of an audience represented a major milestone in self-expression. Both Nursery and Reception celebrated their personal achievements through simple songs, movement and poetry – delighting the audience with a rousing encore of Bananas in Pyjamas! Their natural delight and unforced confidence reminded everyone in attendance of where a lifelong love for the arts begins.
Year 6 Production of “Wonderland: The Musical”
As Year 6 begin their journey into Senior School, the production of Wonderland: The Musical serves as a fitting crescendo to their end-of-year celebrations. The cast led the audience down the rabbit hole into a world of Mad Hatter tea parties and croquet games with the Queen of Hearts. By sharing the lead role ‘Alice’ across eight pupils, the cast demonstrated exceptional collaboration and mutual support. The girls threw themselves into their characters with energy and imagination. They brilliantly conveyed the curiosities of this topsy-turvy world and showcased how much they grew as confident performers ready for the Senior School.
