New wellbeing initiative launches at Norwich High School
In Monday’s assembly last week, Mrs Dolding and Mrs Hood launched Norwich High School for Girls’ latest wellbeing initiative: The Sister Hood.
The initiative includes Thursday break time wellbeing sessions which this week will include wool bracelet making for Year 9 and 10 students and last week saw Year 7 and 8 enjoy some mindfulness colouring.
“Students supporting each other and being active bystanders is more important than ever,” said Mrs Dolding, Deputy Head (Pastoral).
“We have planned a school dance at Christmas with all year groups involved. The routine is now on the year group Google Classrooms and we look forward to supporting our wellbeing through exercise and movement.”
