British Biology Olympiad success

AS and A level students take part in advanced problem solving competition

Students from Years 12 and 13 sat the British Biology Olympiad (BBO) just before the Easter holidays.

The BBO challenges and stimulates students with an interest in Biology to expand and extend their talents. It enables students to demonstrate their talent and to be suitably rewarded with publicly recognised certificates and medals.

The competition consists of two, 45-minute multiple choice papers to be taken online under staff supervised exam conditions. Students are presented with topics and ideas which they are not familiar with, so will compete with their problem solving skills and understanding of core principals.

Certificates will be posted to the school to be given out to girls later this year.
