Musical masterclasses with organist Anna Lapwood
Exciting news! Our 2023 prizegiving speaker, internationally acclaimed conductor and broadcaster Anna Lapwood, will be running two musical masterclasses at St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich following our prizegiving service on Friday, 7th July.
Years 5-6 Masterclass from 2pm – 2.45pm
Anna will give an introduction and general talk about the organ. There will be an opportunity for children in Years 5-6 to touch and try sounding real organ pipes, followed by time on the small organ at St Peter Mancroft trying it in pairs or small groups with Anna. Children must be accompanied by their parents.
Senior School and Adult Masterclass from 3pm – 3.45pm
Anna will run a masterclass featuring three of our Norwich High School for Girls music scholars. Secondary school aged children and adults are welcome to come and watch and find out more about Anna’s career and love for the instrument.
