Specialist biographies

Imogen Clarke, Inspire Norwich

I have been in the fitness industry for over 12 years. After working in lots of commercial gyms, I decided to open my own female friendly studio to create a place where females felt comfortable to exercise with no judgement. I deliver classes and 1-1 sessions. Over 80% of my clients are menopausal so we talk through feelings, and ways to manage symptoms. I am a huge fan of group exercise and hope my enthusiasm for it helps other ladies find their love for fitness.

Beckie Clarke, Generation X Health and Fitness

I became a Personal Trainer at the age of 41, as I wanted to understand how I could future proof my own body for later life and at the same time support other women on their journey through perimenopause, menopause and beyond. I have additional qualifications in Nutrition Coaching, and have become a Women Coaching Specialist and Menopause Practitioner to best help the women that I work with.

Tonia Nelson, Temple Spa

I’ve been a Senior Lifestyle consultant with Temple Spa for four years. Temple Spa is a total lifestyle brand that seeks to beautifully fuse product, philosophy and spa. Caring for your skin is particularly important when menopause symptoms arise as less oestrogen makes you more prone to thinning, sagging and wrinkling. Fortunately, you can relive some of the skin-related effects of aging by caring for your specific skin care needs.
