Last term, four Upper 6 Further Mathematics students took part in an international competition, the Ritangle Challenge.

The Ritangle Challenge is a Maths competition designed for teams of students aged 16-18 who are currently studying A Level Mathematics. It runs over 10 weeks throughout the Autumn term, with a series of challenges issued each week.

Jennifer, Britt, Ria and Alice, who chose the team name ‘The Algebros’, worked with energy, dynamism and creativity to solve every single challenge question set each week.

The Algebros performed so well that they were mentioned amongst a group of approximately 140 other schools across the globe – in the final round up of the competition.

A huge well done to The Algebros on this fantastic achievement.
